Distributed Computing Systems Management
The DCS Programme was managed by the DCS Panel with day-to-day support being provided by an Academic Coordinator
and an Industrial Coordinator. RAL provided the three Academic Coordinators (the last two being full time)
during the life of the project. The industrial coordinators came from industry and were mostly contracted
at 1 day per week.
Supporting the activity were a Technical Secretary and an Administrative Secretary. RAL provided the
Technical Secretary and SERC the Administrative Secretary.
During the programme, some staff were funded at RAL to provide infrastructure support.
