NIRNS -- Overview

The NIRNS Atlas Computer Committee was the first management committee for the Atlas Laboratory. It supervised the setting up of the Atlas Computer Laboratory and stayed in charge until the Atlas Computer Laboratory was transferred to the new Science Research Council along with the Rutherford Laboratory.
